Transgender Day of Remembrance

November 20, 2023 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The gathering for 2023 Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on Oʻahu will be presented by the Hawaiʻi Health & Harm Reduction Center and Capitol Modern on Monday, November 20 from 5pm-8pm at Capitol Modern: The Hawaiʻi State Art Museum.

Occurring annually on November 20, Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) memorializes those who have lost their lives as a result of transphobia, and brings attention to continued violence against transgender people.

TDOR is also a day for the MVPFAFF/LGBTQIA+ community to recommit ourselves to calling out transphobia when we witness it, and learning how to be better allies to our trans sisters and brothers.

For more information, contact Andrew Ogata at HHHRC.
