In state legislatures across the nation model legislation has been introduced that takes away the rights of LGBTQ+ people and puts their lives in danger. Everything from ʻdon’t say gayʻ legislation, to bans on drag shows, to the forced outing of students, books being pulled from libraries, and attacks on life saving gender affirming healthcare for trans people has left the LGBTQ+ absolutely under assault.”
