Science & Sustainability Festival
March 20, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
This year’s 2021 Science & Sustainability Festival theme is Sustainable Seas, will showcase the Bishop Museum’s natural science collections and research, plus local partners’ efforts to support ocean sustainability. Visit with Bishop’s ichthyology, malacology, and zoology researchers as they share their work from across the Pacific – including new fish specimen identification, deep ocean exploration, and a look at the 35,000-specimen invertebrate zoology collection. Then discover how community partners are invested in promoting awareness of ocean conservation and sustainable practices.
All Bishop Museum safety protocols regarding mask-wearing, temperature checks upon entry, and social distancing will be in effect, as well as COVID-19 mandates at state and county levels.
