Capturing the spirit, tension, and heartbreak of a Broadway chorus audition, A CHORUS LINE shows the lives and ambitions of a group of professional Broadway performers. The musical features one powerhouse number after another, such as “What I Did for Love”, “One”, “I Can Do That”, “At the Ballet”, “The Music and the Mirror”, and “I Hope I Get It”.
At its core, A CHORUS LINE is a celebration of the unsung heroes of American musical theatre: the chorus dancers — those valiant, dedicated performers who back up the star or stars, each and every night. But it is the competition that ultimately grabs the audience and holds its heartstrings, until the final, ultimate choices are made.
