The 2023 Hawaiʻi International Film Festival (HIFF) Spring Showcase is chock-full of remarkable films, including two highly anticipated LGBTQIA+ themed films. LITTLE RICHARD: I AM EVERYTHING “shines a clarifying light on the Black, queer origins of rock ’n’ roll” and the ground breaking film from Pakistan JOYLAND follows Haider as he takes a job as a backup dancer at an erotic theater and falls in love with its beautiful transgender star Biba.
