Hawaii Women In Filmmaking

December 1

Hawaii Women In Filmmaking (HWF) is offering several programs running December 2021 – May 2022 focusing on youth and young adult filmmakers. The HWF Video Lab is a virtual space for youth participants to get help for any film projects, to ask filmmaking questions, and/or start film-related discussions. In LIKE BREATH, HWF explores different forms of poetry to tell participants’ stories. MAKING MEDIA THE MATTERS is a filmmaking program to develop filmmaking and critical-thinking skills by examining issues in our communities, and the YOUTH MENTAL WELLNESS REEL CAMP FOR GIRLS is a version of the MAKING MEDIA THE MATTERS workshop with a focus on mental health,

HWF’s programs are free, but have limited capacity. To learn more, visit the Hawaii Women In Filmmaking website.
