Saumolia Puapuaga’s exhibition “Dear Saumolia” represents a personal journey of acceptance as a queer, feminine, innocent young boy becomes an accepting, lovable understanding adult. The artist says “it’s a small glimpse into the life of a Pacific Islander artist who has found acceptance and the love inside of himself to be authentically and courageously Saumolia.”
