February 17 – 27: Social Awareness Film Festival 2022
February 17, 2022
Each year, Anaina Hou’s Social Awareness Film Festival features a theme that focuses on the opportunity to enlighten and create understanding on a broad range of topics that speak to the challenges and beauty of being a human being on this amazing planet; things like agriculture, the environment and climate change, art & culture, socio-economic issues, LGBTQIA+ issues, geopolitical issues, revolutionary changes, race, religion and immigration. The theme for this year’s SAFF is Voices.
In the tradition of SAFF, each evening will feature a talk story discussion with the director or someone from the film. Various live stream features allow for different ways to be involved with the director discussion. Select films will feature a private link to watch the film at any time on the day it screens. Attendees can choose just to watch the film or to listen in or participate in the audience Q&A.
This year’s attendance packages have expanded to include accommodations at nearby resort The Cliffs at Princeville.
