The Rainbow Pride Alliance, a University of Hawaiʻi student-led organization focused on sexual and gender minority (SGM) diversity efforts, is organizing a training experience for 3rd year medical students that highlights SGM health. Theyʻre looking for local LGBTQ+ community members to play simulated patients, who will work directly with medical students on improving their interpersonal communication skills, particularly when interacting with SGM patients.
