Oʻahu Vision Zero Action Plan Public Meeting
June 12, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

On average, one person dies in a traffic crash on Oʻahu streets every week, and kūpuna are especially vulnerable. The Oʻahu Vision Zero Action Plan addresses this persistent issue with a wide range of recommended strategies, including proactive street design, lower speed limits, new enforcement tools, education campaigns, internal process improvements, and more.
The City and County of Honolulu will be hosting a virtual public meeting the evening of June 12 to present the findings and recommendations of the Draft Oʻahu Vision Zero Action Plan and gather public feedback. This new guidance document outlines the intersections and corridors where we experience the most serious crashes, as well as the City’s strategy to end traffic fatalities and serious injuries on our streets by 2040.
