Let Her Play: The importance of pro-social activities for LGBTQ+ people.

In this FREE training, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division Safe Spaces Committee members, Kimberly Allen and Robin Lee will discuss insight into understanding the LGBTQ+ community, especially the transgender athlete. Learn how barring their participation from team sports harms their mental wellness, and ability to connect with their peers. The presentation includes a video about a trans youth athlete, followed by discussion on how to support the trans-youth athlete.
Who can attend: This training is open to community members interested in learning more about LGBTQ+ inclusivity in sports.
