Lambda Legal looks back on the first year of Joe Biden’s presidency, reviewing progress on the organizationʻs proposals to advance the rights of LGBTQ+ people and everyone living with HIV. “As the now one-year-old Biden Administration embarks on its second year of work, we are once again calling for urgent action on a series of critical priorities to reverse the damage done by the Trump administration, and to continue to address the inequities experienced by LGBTQ+ people and people living with HIV across the country.

“Our previously stated ten priorities, along with five additional asks we have set forth for the administration, include stopping the separation of families, ending HIV discrimination in the military, protecting voting rights, and stopping attacks on trans kids, and much more.”

Lambda Legal, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.
