World famous and Hawaii’s very own, Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand will celebrate 50 years this summer! After originally opening under the famous Banyan Tree in the middle of Waikīkī half a century ago, the famed LGBTQ+ bar moved to its present location in 1994.

With the anticipation of Hula’s Five-0 Golden Anniversary around the corner, owner Jack Law and his team are reaching out to the community to help share the Hulaʻs story over the years.

Theyʻre looking specifically for historical photos from 1980-1981 including from their 6th and & 7th Anniversary Parties, as well as from their New Years Eve Parties from those years.
