Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival: accepting submissions and proposals
February 14 - February 21
The 36th Annual Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival (HRFF) is now accepting film submissions as well as proposals for a website designer / content manager and an event coordinator for the 2025 festival. The deadline for film submissions, via FilmFreeway, is March 3, and proposals for the events and website positions are due by February 21. If you’re passionate about storytelling, community, and making an impact, the HRFF team wants to hear from you!
HRFF is one of the longest-running and most respected queer film festivals in the country, especially well known as a bridge between Hawaiʻi and the Pacific, Asia, and the USA. This year’s festival will be a weekend of in-person screenings of remarkable queer films from Hawaiʻi and around the world, with panel discussions and fun parties for film makers and film lovers.
