Hawai’i State Capitol Reopens to the Public
March 7, 2022
The State Capitol will reopen to the public on Monday, March 7, 2022.
- Photo ID and proof of 1) full vaccination (original, hard copy, or photo/digital copy of state-approved vaccination card) or 2) negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours are required for entry into the building.
- Masks are required while visiting the State Capitol.
- Building hours: 7am to 5pm, Monday – Friday
- Parking at the Capitol is limited to authorized personnel. Public parking is available in Lot V (Vineyard Garage on Punchbowl); Lot G (Kalanimoku Building on Beretania & Punchbowl); and Lot L (Kinau Hale Building on Punchbowl).
This policy is subject to change and may be adjusted based on evolving COVID-19 guidelines.
Effective March 7, 2022, the Legislature will accept written, videoconference, and in-person testimony at public hearings.
