First Friday at the State Art Museum

The University of Hawaiʻi-Manoa Department of Theatre and Dance will present their 2022 Student Dance Showcase, “Dance Now” at the next First Friday at HiSAM. Enjoy a free, family-friendly evening of art and music: all museum galleries and the Sculpture Garden will be open and food and drink will be available for purchase.
“Dance Now” features various cultural backgrounds and techniques including Queer Dance, Hula, Okinawan, Balinese, Philippine, Korean, Ballroom, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop, Creative Dance, and Bollywood. The indoor Mirror Room will host “dancinema” dance-for-camera works and live media performance installations.
