Art In Conversation: Ed Greevy and Noe Tanigawa

July 16, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join Hawaiʻi Contemporary as photographer and Hawai‘i Triennial 2022 (HT22) artist Ed Greevy talks about his work with journalist Noe Tanigawa. They’ll discuss his collaborations with the late Haunani-Kay Trask, who was a prominent voice in environmental and social justice movements in Hawai‘i. Greevy and Trask worked together for decades, documenting and shaping a narrative of resistance that was published in the book Kū‘ē: Thirty Years of Land Struggles in Hawai‘i in 2004—selections from which appear in HT22 and are on view at Hawai‘i State Art Museum, now through Dec. 3, 2022.
