Garden Pride Day

October 5 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join Oʻahu Queer Hiking, Lei Pua ʻAla and others for a free special Honolulu Pride Month event at Foster Botanical Garden. Garden tours will be led by docents and Bishop Museum historian DeSoto Brown will present the background story of the Wilhelmina Tenney Rainbow Shower Tree. A very common sight throughout Honolulu, its botanical and popular names happen to honor two lesbian women of the 20th century.
To reserve your spot, call (808) 768-7135.
