Established in 1991, the Honolulu AIDS Walk / The Walk For Life remains profoundly relevant, as there is still no cure for HIV, and our community continues to face ongoing stigma associated with sexual health. Funds raised support direct services for people living with HIV as well as prevention services / programming at the Hawai’i Health & Harm Reduction Center.

The event also serves as a crucial gathering point for policymakers, local businesses, and everyday citizens, all coming together to demonstrate their support for the LGBTQIA+ community and those affected by HIV, reinforcing a community of inclusivity and care.
