The Giving Project: Environmental Justice

Join six writers from The Value of Hawai’i 3: Hulihia, the Turning, a recently released collection of essays from over fifty scholars, poets, activists, and community organizers. Part three of the Author x Artist x Activism Giving Series from Native Books/Na Mea Hawai’i, this event will offer an evening of dialogue and discussion on three floors of the former Pegge Hopper Gallery, now the home of Native Books, Waiwai Collective and the Arts & Letters Gallery in Honoluluʻs Chinatown. Proceeds will benefit local social and environmental justice movements through the Hawai’i People’s Fund’s Giving Project.

Arts & Letters Gallery is located 1164 Nu’uanu Avenue, with parking at corner lot on South Beretania Street and Nu’uanu Ave, or municipal lot with entrance on left after crossing Nu’uanu Ave.
*Capacity is limited due COVID Compliances so RSVPs will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis.
