DESCRIPTION:Gregory House Programs is celebrating their 35th year of serving and housing those most in need\, and their annual Kahu Mālama Award Dinner and Silent Auction will be held Saturday\, November 4\, 2023 at the Moana Surfrider. \nThe Kahu Mālama Award recognizes an individual or entity that has demonstrated extraordinary contributions to Gregory House Programs or the HIV/AIDS community through advocacy\, financial support or other means. This year the fundraiser will benefit housing and food needs for over 400 individuals. \nGregory House Programs\, a 501(c)3 nonprofit\, is the only provider of HIV/AIDS housing services statewide\, and provides case management and nutrition services on Oʻahu. Their programs help improve the quality of life and well-being for our community’s most vulnerable and economically challenged members and in the long run improve the public health of our community. Housing is especially essential for persons living with HIV/AIDS as it keeps the door open to continuous medical care and life-extending treatments. \nLearn more and purchase your tickets to the event here.
