SUMMARY:2021 State Equality Index
DESCRIPTION:The State Equality Index (SEI) is an annual comprehensive report on statewide laws and policies that affect LGBTQ+ people and their families. Published by the Human Rights Campaign in partnership with the Equality Federation\, itʻs a valuable tool for creating a comprehensive view of where the LGBTQ+ community has made legislative progress and where we have seen setbacks. \nHRC Foundation Interim President Joni Madison writes\, “This year\, our nation saw the beginning of a new pro-equality presidential administration\, one that helped advance LGBTQ+ progress across the nation. While we celebrate new federal leadership\, anti-equality state legislators across the country rolled out attacks in unprecedented numbers..There is urgent work ahead to defeat the forces of hate and discrimination and to address the fundamental injustices that have corrupted our institutions for generations.” \nTo read the 2021 report\, click here.

SUMMARY:Human Rights Campaign Foundation Corporate Equality Index 2022
DESCRIPTION:This year marks the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s (HRCF) 20th edition of the Corporate Equality Index (CEI)\, the premier survey benchmarking tool on how corporations across the United States and beyond are adopting equitable workplace policies\, practices and benefits for LGBTQ+ employees. The inaugural edition of the CEI included 319 participants\, with 13 companies achieving top scores. The 20th-anniversary edition of the CEI now includes over 1\,200 participants and more than 800 top scorers. By using the CEI criteria as a guide\, businesses can help ensure that their existing policy and benefits infrastructure is inclusive of LGBTQ+ workers and their families. \nRead the 2022 Corporate Equality Index here.
