DESCRIPTION:The Hawai’i SGM Services Directory has been updated and the new 3rd Edition is the most comprehensive yet. Itʻs an opt-in directory of organizations and individuals (including but not limited to the healthcare sector) providing identity-affirming services for sexual and gender minorities. \nThe Hawai’i SGM Services Directory connects sexual and gender minority clients with providers that actively work to make their business a safe space. The directory can be found on the Hawai’i Department of Health’s (HDOH) SGM Resource Hub website\, and can be downloaded here. \nFor more information on the HDOH SGM Workgroup\, email Co-Chair Thaddeus Pham at Thaddeus.Pham@doh.hawaii.gov.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Hawaiʻi Afterschool Alliance’s presentation about how to best support our LGBTQ+ youth with Amanda Martinez from Mental Health America of Hawaiʻi and Asia Helfrich from Connections Public Charter School. \nThis presentation will focus on explaining Sexual and Gender Minorities (SGM) terminology and the differences between gender identity and sexual orientation.
