DESCRIPTION:Calvary by the Sea invites LGBTQIA+ families to their 2023 Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Sunday Service. The Flashlight Easter-Egg Hunt on April 8 at 6:30pm is a free community family friendly event for children ages (0-10)\, celebrating life\, joy\, resurrection\, rebirth and awakening. There will be hotdogs\, snacks\, drinks\, candy\, prizes\, and a raffle of grand prize for golden eggs found. Register here. \nThe Easter Sunday Service on April 9 at 10:00am will be an oceanfront and intimate experience for the whole family\, with choir and worship band leading inspirational songs and melodies. DESCRIPTION:Calvary By The Sea invites the LGBTQIA+ community to their free oceanfront\, sunset dinners with music\, dialogue and reflection. Pastor Moses calls them “truly organic gatherings that are growing beautifully to include the diversity of God’s humanity.” The gatherings occur on Wednesdays\, March 23 and 30 and April 6 from 5:30pm – 7pm. \nDinner includes soups\, salads\, breads\, and desserts for the season of Lent. Topics discussed\, while offering spirituality around conversations\, include the Russian invasion and Ukraine’s suffering\, a trans-swimmer being othered\, and the potential addition of a new Black woman justice to SCOTUS.
