E komo mai! The Hawaiʻi LGBT Legacy Foundation invites everyone to join us for Honolulu Pride Month throughout October 2023, and especially Honolulu Pride Weekend October 20-22. The Parade & Festival will take place on Saturday, October 21, and Hawaiʻi’s own Sasha Colby, winner of 2023 RuPaul’s Drag Race, will be this year’s Parade Grand Marshal and Festival Headliner.
Opening Honolulu Pride Month on October 1 is the 3rd Annual Kapaemahu Ceremony, honoring our cultures and ancestors, held at the Nā Pōhaku Ola, commonly referred to as “the healer stones”, in Waikīkī. Other highlights of the month include the National Coming Out Day celebration at UN Mānoa on October 11, and Rainbow Town Halls and Mālāma ʻAina gatherings.
Along with our sponsors, community partners, non-profits and businesses, there will be more than 40 social, educational and cultural events during Honolulu Pride Month. There’s something for everyone, so come out and celebrate with Hawai’i’s MVPFAFF/LGBTQIA+ community. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Kelli Bullock Hergert has been capturing our gatherings for years with her indomitable energy and irresistible style.
So when she offered to curate a special gallery of her favorite pics from the 2022 Honolulu Pride Parade and Festival, we said, “Yes, please!” Kelliʻs been part of the Hawaiʻi LGBT Legacy Foundation ʻohana since its beginning, and when a member of the family says they have a special gift for you, you know itʻs going to be fabulous.
She and her team have also made their galleries of all their photos from the 2022 celebrations available for the community to view. Just click here. Mahalo Kelli!
