Talk Story: LGBTQ+ Māhū Community Memory Site

December 13, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Lei Pua `Ala Queer Histories of Hawaiʻi is seeking input for a LGBTQ+ Māhū Community Memory Site. It will be a place where current & future generations can gather to reflect, mourn and honor those who have been lost to, or suffered from, HIV/AIDS, and other forms of oppression and erasure. It will also celebrate those who survived and bravely paved the way toward a more just and inclusive world for all.

Join the talk story at Capitol Modern on Friday, December 13, from 12-2pm and share ideas to inspire a collective vision. Light lunch and refreshments will be served.
