“Spinning a Rainbow Thread: Reflections on Writing Queer Jewish History” with Noam Sienna

February 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

What is the place of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer Jews in history?

Jewish educator, artist and doctoral candidate Noam Sienna will answer this question by sharing his insights on “Spinning a Rainbow Thread: Reflections on Writing Queer Jewish History”

Pulling together varied sources of poetry, literature, midrash and memoir from across the globe, Sienna created the first anthology of queer Jewish history spinning a complex story about Jewish sexuality and gender across time and space.

Vegetarian Nosh: 6:00 PM | Presentation: 7:00 PM

This event is free and open to the public but donations to help cover the cost of the food will be gratefully accepted.
