Kama’aina: Film Screening and Talk Story on LGBT Youth & Houselessness in Hawaii

August 10 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Inspired by the film Kamaʻāina, which tells the story of a queer 16 year old girl from Waiʻanae kicked out of her home, the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival is proud to host a free film streaming and timely community conversation about LGBTQ youth and houselessness in Hawaii. Join the filmmaker, the young Waiʻanae actor who plays the role, and the amazing Puʻuhonua o Waiʻanae organizer Twinkle Borge on Monday August 10 at 5 PM.
