Kagirinaki Ai To Jihi

Kagirinaki Ai To Jihi: Toward LGBTQ+ Equity; Inclusion in Hawaiʻi’s Japanese Communities will be a talk story and interactive panel discussion featuring leaders in Hawaiʻiʻs Japanese community.

The talk story will feature Hawaiʻi Supreme Court Justice Sabrina Shizue McKenna, Japanese American Citizens League – Honolulu Chapter leader Bill Kaneko, and Marsha and Aiden Aizumi, a mother and son who share their family’s journey as founders of the first PFLAG chapter for Asian & Pacific Islanders and Okaeri, a Nikkei LGBTQ+ community.

Camaron Miyamoto, UH Mānoa LGBTQ+ Center and Haylin Dennison of Spill the Tea Cafe will moderate the discussion.
