Registration is now open for Hawaii-based LGBTQ+ artists who wish to participate in the upcoming Arts of Pride: An LGBTQ+ Experience project produced by Gay Island Guide, Dark Mirror Entertainment and The Arts at Marks. This month-long experience during Pride month in October will include exhibits, performances and workshops featuring Hawaii’s local LGBTQ+ artists.

Artists from all genres are welcome including, but not limited to: painters, sculptors, illustrators, performers and musicians, or any other art form. If you are interested in participating and sharing your art, talents, passion and works please use Gay Island Guide’s contact form or email artsofpride@gmail.com. Artists will not only be given the opportunity to showcase their artworks but to also sell them.

The producers are also seeking other Hawaii businesses or vendors that are interested in sponsoring this event to highlight our LGBTQ+ community members who many times are not recognized. They are also seeking businesses or crafters who may be interested in setting up booths during certain events during the month, and any person or business who might be interested in providing educational workshops throughout the month to help advance the people of our LGBTQ+ community.
