ACLU Systemic Equality Action Series
May 20, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The ACLU recently launched its Systemic Equality Agenda, a multi-year racial justice agenda, building off its past century of civil rights advocacy and seeking to address America’s legacy of racism and systemic discrimination. ACLU believes that “Together, we can fight for a world in which every person can achieve their highest potential, unhampered by structural and institutional racism. But we know that tackling systemic inequality is no easy feat and we need you to commit to joining us in this fight.”
Through the Systemic Equality Action Series, you will learn from influential civil rights leaders, be provided with important context behind key racial justice issues like voting, student debt cancellation and more, and receive training on key organizing tactics you can use to fight systemic racism.
