DESCRIPTION:Sometimes we want to be supportive of a family member or friend\, but we don’t have the right words or understanding. Wahiawa United Methodist Church is an LGBTQ+ affirming congregation\, and they are hosting an online workshop for the loved ones of LGBTQ+ people who want to learn practical ways that they can be affirming. \nRev. Denyse Barnes\, an ordained United Methodist pastor\, will offer advice and provide a basic overview of LGBTQ+ language.
